Yes. You can configure fgVoIP to use WiFi only, 3G only or which ever is currently available. The reason we recomend using WiFi connections is that 3G data does not always provide sufficient bandwidth and QoS. Calls using 3G data may be good enough or may involve audio gaps and lag depending on the current data connection quality.
